Priority by Days Left
This calculated column uses a SharePoint formula to sort an item into High, Medium, or Low priority based on the days remaining. Because it lives in a calculated column, SharePoint fills the value in for every item automatically - no custom development and nothing for your users to type.
How It Works
- What it does: Sorts an item into High, Medium, or Low priority from the days left.
- What you get: High under 3 days, Medium for 3 to 6 days, Low for 7 or more.
- If a value is missing: If Days Left is blank it reads as 0, so the item shows High.

- Set the data type returned from this formula to Single line of text
- Paste the formula below into the Formula box
- Click OK to create the column
